about our horses
At Touch the Past we breed, train, and lovingly care for our horses at our century-old Glanbrook farm.

When our horses aren't working, they have a wonderful life of grazing in open pasture at their leisure, in the company of their equine friends. We believe that healthy horses are happy horses, and we take care ensuring our horses have regular veterinarian and farrier care.

You are most welcome to book an appointment to come and visit the horses before you reserve your carriage or wagon. Just call or send an Email.

Doc (on the left) is the handsome dark brown quarter-horse with a black mane and tail. Moe is the beautiful golden palomino with a flowing white mane.

They're usually the first choice in pulling our antique carriages for weddings, and we'll even match the ribbons in their manes to your bridal colours.

These girls are fondly referred to as the 'heavies'. Sheena and Lady are rock solid Belgian horses, weighing approximately 1500 lbs. each. Belgians have excellent dispositions and are often referred to as 'gentle giants'. The heavies are most often used to pull our larger wagons for corporate and private parties.
